Emma Block has been working professionally as an illustrator since she was 17, amassing vast experience in publishing, licensing, editorial illustration, and teaching.
A passionate lover of color and texture, Emma draws her inspiration from her travels. When she’s on holiday, she loves bringing her sketchbook and paints along to sketch as she sees it.
Just like us, Emma is a planner person. The classic journal layout, with lots of space for daily to-do lists is her favorite. She believes that writing everything down physically in her planner keeps her organized and motivated. At the beginning of each week, she makes an extensive to-do list, which she keeps coming back to every morning, crossing things out as she goes along. “This is the first thing I check when I sit down at my desk in the morning; I love seeing how much I’ve achieved in the day”, Emma shares.
